A diabetes prevention program (DPP) that Cigna piloted with Omada Health demonstrated average weight loss of 3.5-5% of body weight to participants beyond one year and net medical cost savings of $424 to $972 to employers, for a 1.5 – 2:1 return on investment. Cigna has rolled out the Omada DPP nationally. (https://www.cigna.com/newsroom/news-releases/2018/cigna-expands-personalized-diabetes-prevention-program-in-collaboration-with-omada-health)
